Jerusalem Mathaiah, who is the General Secretary of All India Christians and the accused number four in Revanth Reddy’s scam, has said that, some strangers are calling him on his phone and threatening him to record a statement against Chandrababu Naidu.
It was known that, there are totally four members who are accused in Revanth Reddy’s cash for vote scandal. The top three accused are caught by the police and it is Mathaiah, accused number four is absconding.
Please offer me protection- Mathaiah
As per the information given by him, from the past few days, he has been getting threatening calls from some unidentified persons and so, Mathaiah pleaded to the government to offer protection to him and his family.
Mathaiah suspected that, the threatening calls might have been from the policemen, to force him to record the statement against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and even hinted the officials that, there are many foul politics played regarding the Revanth Reddy’s arrest.
Police tried to bribe Mathaiah!
Clarifying the suspects more, that it might be police who are threatening him, Mathaiah said that, “police have been threatening me of using 3rd degree torture after his arrest, if I didn't speak against Chandrababu Naidu and they even tried to offer me Rs. 15 lakhs as a reward for doing so.
“For the significance of my minority vote for the welfare of the Christian minorities in the state, I had to stay in contact with Stephenson”, Mathaiah further informed.

If the statements of Mathaiah are believed to be true, then it can be confirmed, that, there are a few of the foul politics being played by the opposition parties and targeting TDP officials. On the other hand, it is to be noted that, the guy who was away all these days, had made a statement suddenly. When he told that, the threatening calls are from the unidentified persons, how can he later clarify that, it is the police who are threatening, and on the other side, how can the police offer Rs. 15 Lakhs, What is the need for a police to offer such a huge amount just to oppose the CM of a state?, From this point, is Mathaiah making the situations favorable to himself?, Is he trying to create a mercy on him? As there are continuous alleges from the oppositions on Naidu, did the latter, contacted Mathaiah and asked him to divert the case towards the police, so that the people might suspect that, the police are bribed from the opposition parties to conduct such foul activities? , Let’s see how interestingly the case takes a turn after Mathaiah surrenders.
