Justice Ziyad Rahman A. A

Born on 12.05.1972 at Thrikkakkara, Ernakulam District as the son of Adv.A.A.Abdul Rahman (Late) and Latheepha. Undergone Lower Primary School education from Mary Matha English Medium School, Thrikkakkara and completed Upper Primary as well as High School education from Cardinal High School, Thrikkakkara. Took B.A degree in Economics from St.Paul's College, Kalamassery in the year 1993. Completed Bachelor Degree in law from YMS Law College, Kundapura, Karnataka, affiliated to Mangalore University, in the year 1996. After completing the apprenticeship training, enrolled as an Advocate on 31.08.1997. Since then, he practiced before the High Court of Kerala and Subordinate Courts in Ernakulam. He was a Designated Partner of M/s Sheriff Associates, LLB a law firm in Ernakulam. Practiced in various branches of law, mainly in Electricity Act, Motor Vehicles Act, Insurance Act, Employees Compensation Act, Land Laws and various other Civil Laws. He was the Standing Counsel for New India Assurance Company Ltd. from 2011, onwards. Elevated as Additional Judge of High Court of Kerala on 25.O2.2021.
