Chief Justice Nitin Jamdar
Born in Solapur into a family of lawyers, being the third generation to pursue a career in the legal field.
Having received education in different schools across Maharashtra, obtained degrees in Commerce and Law from Sydenham Commerce College and Government Law College, Mumbai.
Practised at the Bombay High Court in diverse fields, primarily in administrative and constitutional law. Represented various public bodies such as the Zilla Parishads, Municipal Councils, Municipal Corporations, and Universities. Also represented the Bar Council of India and the High Court administration. Was Senior Standing Counsel for the Union of India.
Graduated in Commerce and Law from the University of Mumbai. Practiced in the Bombay High Court. Elevated as a Judge of the Bombay High court on 23 January 2012.
Served as the Acting Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court. Elevated as Chief Justice of High Court of Kerala on 26.09.2024.
